Do I need a driver's license to rent an ATV or UTV?

Yes. The driver needs a valid driver's license from any country, and you have to carry it while you ride. A passport copy is also needed at check-in.

What is the minimum age to drive or ride?

What vehicles do you have?

ATVs (quads), 2- and 4-seat side-by-sides (Honda Pioneer), and golf carts. Every machine is serviced between rentals.

Can we drive the rental on the beach?

Costa Rica law does not allow driving on the beach itself. We'll show you the best legal routes and trails to Playa Grande, Avellanas, Conchal and other beaches nearby.

Do I need experience? Is it safe for beginners?

No experience needed. We give every rider a safety briefing and a quick driving lesson before you head out. Beginners, couples and families ride with us every day.

What is included in the guided tours?

A bilingual guide (English and Spanish), your ATV or UTV, helmet, water and fresh fruit. The tour visits jungle trails, river crossings and viewpoints. Tours last about 3 hours. Sunset tours are also available.

What should I bring?

Closed shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, and clothes that can get muddy. In the rainy season, bring a change of clothes!
